Stegette, Gallente Federation
As soon as I had regained my strength, I immediately resumed my journey. Rather than live in fear of death and possible pirate attacks, I headed straight for the area where I had been assaulted a few days earlier. Along the way, I visited the systems of Ation, Jel, Egghelende, Aliette, Odette, Ravarin and Stegette. With these, I have now visited a total of 30 systems, observed 32 temperate planets and helped bring about the creation of 2 new altars of Izuna.
The journey was peaceful. After all, it is rare for pirates to operate for several consecutive days in systems like these… They have carried out their raids against honest travellers and then gone off to hide on some wretched backwater planet. They were an obstacle, but they delayed me by no more than a few days.
Even though they have no voice, the dead continue to live, because nothing that exists is ever truly erased by the will of Izuna. There is no such thing as the death of an individual, only death as part of a universal design, a transformation that concerns every form of life. Even we, who have crossed the boundary between life and death, must remain awake. We cannot surrender to stillness, nor forget the value of our choices. Every day, in every corner of New Eden, we are called upon to decide which path to follow. Izuna does not choose for us, nor does she impose our destiny: she offers us existence, the universe and the freedom to understand them. For to live, even after death, means to continue searching for our place in the infinite harmony of creation.
These were the thoughts that filled my mind as I gazed upon Jel I, an extraordinary Plasma planet.
