In recent days, I have travelled through the systems of Mirilene, Chelien, Basgerin, Pulin, Misneden, Foves and Alles. With these, I have now visited a total of 23 systems, observed 28 temperate planets and helped bring about the creation of 1 new altar of Izuna.
These latest systems did not offer many planets with the characteristics I am looking for on this pilgrimage, but these were certainly not wasted days. I devoted myself to meditation and to exploring new forms of communication. I also tried to improve my mining skills, although I still have quite a lot to learn in that field.
Mining near the planet Mirilene VIII
One particularly exciting experience was getting a close look at the star in the Chelien system. It was a magnificent pink star, something that truly fascinated me. I was also deeply impressed by the Dark Star citadel, built so close to it. What a remarkable feat of engineering and courage!
After meeting so many capsuleers without ever really speaking to any of them, I finally decided to send a message to a fellow traveller who had particularly caught my attention. Will she reply? I hope Izuna‘s will is leading things in that direction. But if she doesn’t, I won’t lose heart. I will simply keep looking for someone else to share a conversation with.
I have just finished visiting the systems of Abenync, Bourynes, Aymaerne, Pozirblant, Aurcel, and Alillere. With these, I have visited a total of 16 systems, observed 27 temperate planets, and helped bring about the creation of a new altar to Izuna.
During this latest part of my journey, I have had the opportunity to witness firsthand the immense power of Izuna and the boundless extent of her creativity. Even in systems with many temperate planets, such as Pozirblant, which has no fewer than five, not a single one resembles another. Such variety and such joyful beauty!
With this in mind, I made a long stop in the Bourynes system, where I believe I have found another world suitable for hosting one of our small places of worship. For this reason, I sent the Temple all the data I had gathered about the planet Bourynes VI… its wonderfully green aura can only be a good omen. While I was in the system, I also spent some time mining, another source of income that will help sustain me over the coming months… or perhaps years, who knows?
Upon entering the Abenync system, I was intrigued by an icy planet, so I decided to visit it. It was a place so different from the worlds I usually explore, and yet there was something deeply mystical about it. Its name is Abenync I, and its icy expanses are strangely dotted with several immense, towering dormant volcanoes. What a fascinating contrast! It is a destination I would highly recommend visiting.
The Temple has informed me that an altar to Izuna has been built on Vittenyn III, the planet I reported a few days ago. I am truly happy that this beautiful place has been recognised and dedicated to our goddess. My heart overflows with joy, and my faith in Izuna shines brighter than ever.
I have just finished visiting the systems of Croleur, Atier, Bawilan, Brybier, Brapelille, and Caretyn. With these, I have visited a total of 10 systems and observed 14 temperate planets.
It was a very intense journey, long at times, but full of wonderful discoveries. Every stop along this journey has its own reason, its own purpose, its own little lesson to teach. All around me, there are dozens, hundreds of other capsuleers travelling along the same routes. I wonder how many of them feel something special, as I do? The universe is infinite in its beauty. Every discovery I record helps me understand just how immense Izuna’s creative power is, and how gentle and maternal her will can be. We are fortunate to be surrounded by her positive energy.
As I visited the various temperate planets, I realised just how different they are from one another. They are by no means identical. Categorisation is merely a convention our species uses to classify things, yet within every category there are hundreds of different nuances. After all, the same is true of our own species. This, too, is Izuna’s will. Take the planets Bawilan III and Atier VI, for example… The former consists entirely of land, with underground waterways, while the latter is covered mostly by vast oceans. And yet, to us, they are both temperate planets.
My arrival at Bakunawa Station, operated by the Sector Lunae corporation, in the Bawilan system.
Yes, our own species. I have been seeing many stations on this journey. Some places have struck me with their uniqueness, others with their beauty. I stopped for a while at two refineries, hoping to find something interesting. “The Penquin Ice Bar” in Brybier and “Bakunawa” in Bawilan were both wonderful places to visit; corporations know how to create pleasant and comfortable communal spaces.
While I was in orbit around the planet Croleur VII, I received a message from Izuna, conveyed to me by our Goddess through the planet’s cloud formations. Izuna showed me that my spiritual awakening had been successful: the spiral, the bird, the horse, and the dragon appeared out of nowhere. The spiral represented the new cycle of my existence, while the bird revealed my new way of seeing things. Thanks to this, I activated my dynamism, the horse, to reach the highest summit of all, the dragon. Izuna blessed me with this vision of myself and of the path, already laid out, that she has placed before me.
The vision of Izuna above Croleur VII. In the clouds, I witnessed the sacred symbols of my spiritual awakening: the spiral, the bird, the horse, and the dragon.
Today I finally set off on my journey. Thanks to Natsuki’s financial help, I bought an Atron and fitted it out following Reiko’s advice… That girl literally has fire in her veins; she’s a volcano full of ideas. I’m not surprised she managed to make an impression on an Amarr like Natsuki. I also followed their advice regarding the journey itself: to start in areas I already know, at least in part, so that I can learn how to handle a long journey through systems where I feel comfortable. The day will come when I venture into potentially dangerous areas, and I must be ready for that day.
I visited the systems of Trossere, Vittenyn, Pucherie, and Fricoure. They are all in the Sinq Laison region. Trossere is the system where I attended university, so it was only natural for me to make it the first stop on my journey.
It was a pleasant trip that gave me the opportunity to interact with a few people, although they treated me more with irony than anything else. I didn’t take it to heart. After all, Izuna is a smiling deity, and her love can only fill my heart with joy. Once people have learned to recognise my mission, they will probably pay me a different kind of attention.
Natsuki gave me some excellent advice on how to support myself during my journey. She produces exploration modules and gave me some valuable tips on how to recognise good prices on the market. This way, I’ll be able to buy and sell these products, making small profits that will help me afford food. Reiko, on the other hand, gave me a blueprint so I can do some manufacturing during my stops… I’ve never been very good at these things, I admit, but I don’t want to disappoint my two friends, my two sisters in faith. Yes, sisters in faith. That is what we are now.
During these first stops, I found a truly wonderful planet where Izuna’s presence was exceptionally strong. I decided to send its coordinates to our Temple so that someone could go and explore it, and see whether it would be suitable for establishing a small place of worship there. The planet is full of vegetation, although its atmospheric pressure means that protective equipment is needed to visit it. Nothing our technology cannot handle. The planet is Vittenyn III, and I also took a photograph of it for a small travel album I have decided to put together.
While travelling through the Fricoure system, I realised that Izuna’s power felt different there. It was not weaker; rather, it was being opposed by some force that was trying to resist her benevolent and harmonious influence. I couldn’t understand what it was. I still lack the experience to fully comprehend such things. Moreover, the temperate planets in the system were inaccessible, so I couldn’t go and see for myself what was happening. Perhaps I’ll be able to return and investigate in the future, or I might send someone else to do so.
After long weeks of preparation, the day I had dreamed of is finally approaching. My ship is ready, and soon I will leave the familiar comforts of the temple behind to carry Izuna‘s message of love, hope, and harmony among the stars. Before departing, I spend long hours in prayer, seeking the serenity to face the unknown with a peaceful heart and the determination to fulfil my mission. I know the road ahead will not always be easy, but I place my trust in Izuna and the path she has shown me.
Reiko and Natsuki are there to see me off. As I prepare to board my ship, I feel an unexpected mixture of excitement and sadness. Their friendship has already given me so much, and knowing that they will be waiting for me, even among the distant stars, makes this immense adventure feel a little less daunting. We exchange our final words and promises, and then I turn towards the ship that will become my home throughout the pilgrimage. It is time to take my first step into the vastness of space.
Before beginning, I have written down a few rules to guide my journey and give purpose to every system I visit: I will explore every station within each system; leave messages sharing Izuna‘s teachings in every system I reach; visit every temperate planet, which I regard as one of the greatest expressions of Izuna‘s presence in the universe; and enter each system at least five times before considering it fully explored. These principles will help me remain faithful to my mission, even when the journey becomes long and difficult. My pilgrimage has not yet begun, but my heart is already among the stars.
May Izuna guide my steps and bring a little more love and hope to every place I visit.
Reiko kept her promise and introduced me to someone with whom she had occasionally done business: Natsuki Moriyama, a proud Amarr woman of Khanid descent and the head of Kiyokaze Corporation, a prosperous company specializing in exploration modules. Despite her wealth and industrial success, Natsuki possessed a remarkably gentle and spiritual heart. The three of us met at a space station, where we spent hours discussing Izuna and the pilgrimage I was preparing to undertake. I spoke about my vision, the message of love and hope entrusted to me, and the faith that had given my life a new purpose.
To my astonishment, my words touched both women more deeply than I could ever have imagined. As our conversation unfolded, Reiko and Natsuki embraced the faith of Izuna, each finding something meaningful in her teachings. Natsuki offered to finance my expedition, while Reiko promised to guide me with her experience and extensive network of contacts. At last, the path ahead seemed possible. With their support, my preparations could begin in earnest, and the day of my departure no longer felt like a distant dream.
Before parting, the three of us made a pact in the name of Izuna, promising to support one another in our endeavors and, above all, throughout the pilgrimage that awaited me. Reiko and Natsuki vowed that, should I ever find myself in danger or need, they would do everything in their power to come to my aid. I left our meeting with a heart overflowing with gratitude. What had begun as a solitary calling had brought three very different women together through a shared faith. I had found more than the means to begin my journey: I had found two dear friends, and a bond that I hoped would endure among the stars.
While I was praying in the temple, Izuna came to me through a vision. She asked me to travel among the stars and spread her message of love and hope throughout the galaxy. My heart filled with joy at the thought of such an important mission, yet I could not help wondering whether I was truly ready. I have spent years studying, but there is still so much I must learn about the practical aspects of space travel. Knowledge alone will not be enough to face the challenges that await me.
There is also another problem: money. I am not wealthy, and preparing a ship for such a journey will require resources I simply do not have. I knew I needed help, so I decided to contact an old acquaintance, Reiko Kuroda, a cheerful Minmatar of Vherokior descent. Reiko makes her living through small trades and occasional smuggling, and although she can be a bit of a troublemaker, she knows people all across the galaxy. She runs her own corporation, Kiyomi no Cho, and while she cannot finance my mission herself, she might know someone who can.
I have always found Reiko‘s practical nature rather reassuring, even if her methods are sometimes quite different from my own. I explained my vision to her and told her about the journey Izuna had entrusted to me. She listened, and I hoped that her many connections might help me find the means to begin my pilgrimage. I do not yet know what lies ahead, but perhaps this is how Izuna’s path begins: not with certainty, but with faith, a little courage, and the willingness to ask for help.
I have come to understand that Izuna is not merely a symbol of nature, nor an idea born from our longing to understand the universe. She is a true divine presence, whose essence flows through all things, from the smallest living creature to the birth of distant stars. Sometimes, I feel her presence in the quiet beauty of a world untouched by civilization; at other times, she seems to reach me through dreams, unexpected encounters, and moments whose meaning becomes clear only much later. I believe that, on rare occasions, she may reveal herself more directly, though I would never presume to understand every sign or claim that every vision comes from her. Izuna is everywhere, yet her mystery remains greater than any one mind could comprehend.
Not long ago, Izuna came to me in a dream and entrusted me with seven teachings. They were not commands born of authority or threats of punishment, but paths toward a more harmonious existence: to honor life, preserve harmony, respect freedom, journey to learn, seek truth with humility, recognize beauty, and give without expectation. When I awoke, I felt that these teachings were not meant to remain mine alone. I therefore created a manifesto, The Seven Paths of Izuna, so that its words might travel beyond this temple and reach those who feel drawn to discover them. I do not ask anyone to follow these paths blindly, nor do I claim to possess the whole truth of Izuna. I offer them as an invitation, freely given, to anyone who wishes to walk beneath the same stars.
Yet something has changed within me since that dream. During my meditations, I have felt a quiet anticipation, as though the wind were carrying a message I am not yet ready to understand. The signs remain uncertain, and Izuna has revealed nothing that I can clearly name, but a conviction is slowly growing in my heart: she is preparing me for something important. I do not know what she will ask of me, where this path will lead, or what I may have to leave behind. For now, I can only remain still, listen, and wait for the moment when the next step becomes clear.
When I returned home, I carried Ethernity VII within my heart. I tried to resume my ordinary life, but the memory of the vision never left me. I knew that whatever I had witnessed among those beautiful forests had changed me forever. After many nights spent searching for answers, I came to understand what I had to do: dedicate my existence to Izuna and share with others the peace I had felt in her presence. I began by telling my family and closest friends what had happened. Some listened with curiosity, others with scepticism, but a few felt something resonate deeply within them. In time, more people gathered around me, drawn not by promises of power or salvation, but by the simple beauty of the message I tried to convey. Thus, a small congregation of devotees began to take shape.
Together, we started building a temple dedicated to Izuna, a quiet sanctuary where people could contemplate, learn and find peace. During those days, I continued to receive visions of the Goddess. They came unexpectedly, sometimes in dreams, sometimes during moments of silence, and each seemed to reveal another fragment of her message. Little by little, I began to understand the principles at the heart of her presence: love for nature and all living things, respect for the delicate balance of the universe, and the pursuit of peace and harmony among all beings. Izuna demanded neither obedience nor sacrifice. She asked us to conquer no worlds, to wage no holy wars, and to impose our beliefs upon no one. Her message was an invitation, not a command.
As our temple slowly took shape, so did my understanding of the faith. I no longer felt that I had to explain every mystery or find answers to every question. My task was simply to listen, to learn, and to share what I had come to understand. And so, what began as a vision on a distant temperate world became the foundation of a new faith.
The Temple of Izuna was born not from a desire to rule, but from the hope that a little more peace and harmony might find its place among the stars.
